In response to the recent flooding, which has affected several states, and, particularly, many people in Missouri, in union with the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, Archbishop Carlson is calling for a special collection to be taken up in all parishes in the Archdiocese on the weekend of January 16 - 17.  These funds will be used to assist flood victims now in their greatest time of need.

The funds collected will be used to support the efforts of Catholic Charities as they respond to immediate emergency needs for such necessities as water, food, shelter, and medical care, as well as to the long term need to rebuild and recover after widespread destruction.
